Dell Aspire Mentorship Program

As a female student you can Start your career with Dell Technologies' STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Aspire female mentoring program. This program runs for 3 months and aims to connect female university or TAFE students, who are in their final year of study and like-minded females at Dell. Mentees will receive 1-on-1 support and guidance from there mentor, to help bridge the gap between education and employment.



STEM Aspire is a female mentorship program connecting 2nd year college students to mentors within Dell Technologies. Its aim is to encourage and empower enthusiastic students studying STEM based degrees to have rewarding careers in the technology sector. Potential areas include Computer Science, Software Engineering, BIS, Networking, Cyber Security, IT Management, or related fields.


This three-month program offers one-on-one mentorship, networking opportunities, and training to help you bridge the gap between education and employment. You'll have the chance to meet and learn from successful women in Dell Technologies and fellow mentees, gain a deeper understanding of the IT industry, and prepare for intern and graduate applications.


As a mentee, you'll receive:

  • One-on-one support and guidance from a mentor
  • Opportunities to meet and network with successful women in Dell Technologies and fellow other mentees
  • Training and preparation for internship and graduate applications
  • A possible paid Summer Internship upon completion of the program


To qualify, simply apply at the Dell technologies STEM website with your CV and a covering letter explaining your interests and why you're interested in the program. If selected, you'll be expected to engage with your mentor at least once a month and participate in events run by the program.

How to know if you are qualified;

As a female student based in Ireland studying a STEM course in 2nd Year at 3rd level education, you qualify for the program


How to apply for the programme?

  • Apply to this posting by October 1st, 2024
  • Upload your CV, covering the areas below: 
  • Your name, college and college course.
  • What area of technology you are most interested in.
  • Why you are interested in a mentoring program with Dell Technologies.
  • Successful applicants will receive a link to complete a short video interview (e.g., describe yourself, your interests, your college course, etc.)


What is expected from me at the programme?

  • Engagement with your mentor at least once a month pressing issues 
  • Participation in events run by the programme, including on-site events at our Dell offices (there will be a minimum of 4 event a year)
  • After your application, you will receive a separate communication with more details on the next steps and the structure of the mentoring program no later than October 11th.
  • By signing up for this programme you have given permission to dell technologies to hold your contact details for a maximum of 12 months
